A young person is going into the first grade so excited and ready to learn! He has always had a speaking impediment. He sits down at his desk and arranges his crayons, ready for a coloring assignment. When everybody goes around learning each other's names, they come to him and he stutters just a little bit. When he sits down at his tiny desk another little kid laughs at his big ears. He says they look like monkey ears, or Dumbo. He tries to hide his ears in his hands and starts to color again. The teacher sees tiny little tears coming out of his blue eyes, and scolds everyone for being so rude. Instantly everyone apologizes. I still talk to this kid. His ears are just as big, but his speech is so much better. Remember this story; apply it to your life. Make a little kids day.
This is so stinking cute! Little kids can be the meanest, and they don't even realize what is going on when they say things!
