1.Three things that I know about the Holocaust are:
a) The Nazi Party was not a national thing, you had to join and agree with their theology.
b) The Jews were shipped off in trucks or paraded through towns to concentration camps. The truck senario not all lived through.
c) Mein Kampf was Hitler's autobiography. Mein Kampf in German literally means "My struggle."
2. Three things that I want to know about the Holocaust are:
a) Why would Hitler want to punish a singular group of people like this?
b) Members of the Nazi Party literally pointed and laughed at the Jews as they passed by in the "parades". How is it possible that one section of the human race can treat another section so poorly?
c) How long did people buy the fact that Hitler was "purifying the Motherland."?
3. Three things that I want to know about The Book Thief are:
a) Why(I'm sorry if this is a spoiler!) is it that Liesel is the only one to survive in the end?
b) Why does Papa decide to join the Nazi Party, even (again with the spoilers) though he is harboring a Jew in his basement?
c) Why is it that Death is haunted by humans?
