Holocaust Questions: Lauren Finlinson, 4

Three things I learned about the Holocaust:

1. Not all Germans were supportive of Hitler.
2. The world knew very little about what was actually going on in Germany until after the war ended.
3. Even Germans were imprisoned, tortured, and murdered for fighting against Hitler.

Three things I still want to know:

1. What countries were NOT effected by the war?
2. What inspired Hitler's hatred of the Jews?
3. How many survivors were there of the Jewish concentration camps?

Three things I wonder about The Book Thief:

1. How does Death know the story of the main character?
2. Is the war important to the story and in what way?
3. What makes this book different from other stories of WWII?
