Anonymous 9th grade blogger

I can't stop thinking about this and I just have to get it out there.
I discovered I have found joy in pointing out others' flaws. Is it because I'm just a cruel person laughs at others pains, or perhaps because I'm so flawed myself?

  1. Humans in general are just typically flawed, there is no flawless thing in the world. Maybe you're trying to correct them to save them from embarrassment? I don't know, only you know. However, one thing is clear to me; if I had all my flaws pointed out, I wouldn't like it, but some people are different. Still, it doesn't make you a bad person. :)
I would also like to point out that I admire your courage to put this out there. Not many people can tell a blog of their peers something that they are not very proud of. Even if no one knows who you are.

  2. Too often we find ourselves insecure and pointing out the other insecurities and flaws in other people. But it's obvious you;'re secure enough to tell the blog and those who read about you pointing out flaws, so it's a good thing that problem can be out of the way! I too, do NOT like it when people point out my flaws. So here's something to think about: Do you do it purposely, in vain, or to make others feel bad? Do you do it help others or to save them from embarrassment? Or maybe you're absent minded when doing it.
Maybe if you think about it, then post which one it is, and we can give a little further opinion. I, too am going to remain anonymous, but my guess it that like all people, you have a good heart and whatever the reason you do it, some advice could be good. I know countless people that would rather not have their flaws publicly addressed. Yay for you for wanting help and putting this out there!

  3. Insecure people do this, so maybe it's because you have flaws too. That's not a bad thing though! In fact, 2 other people have stated how proud of you they are for putting this out there and I totally agree!

  4. Wow. That is really interesting. What prompted the author to put this out there? Is it bothering you, or you just want feedback? I agree it is brave, but I hope realizing you and everyone else is flawed will promote some sort of change or self awareness.

  5. Yeah, that is interesting... You do know everyone is flawed and no one likes being told what they did wrong right? You may want to break this habit before you hit the real world.
